Sunday, October 29 2023, new appointment with #maididomenica. A journey through the treasures of the Angelo Mai Library, a series of free guided tours offered by the Associazione Amici, during the last sundays of each month. This meeting will be in english language.
The librarians, assisted by volunteers and members of the Associazione Amici, will explain to visitors the history of Palazzo Nuovo, its decorations, paintings and sculptures and they will talk about the events that characterized the development of the Civic Library, accompanying guests in the rooms of the building.
There are two scheduled visits, starting at 10.00 and 11.30. Booking is recommended: write at info@bibliotecamai.org, indicating name, surname, telephone number, number of participants and chosen time; or call 035-399430. Additional visitors will be accepted even if not booked up to the maximum number of guests allowed.

Domenica 29 ottobre 2023 nuovo appuntamento con #maididomenica. Viaggio tra i tesori della Biblioteca Angelo Mai, serie di visite guidate gratuite offerte dall’Associazione Amici della Biblioteca le ultime domeniche di ogni mese. L’incontro sarà condotto in lingua inglese.
I bibliotecari, coadiuvati da Volontari e Soci dell’Associazione Amici, illustreranno ai visitatori la storia di Palazzo Nuovo, delle sue ornamentazioni, delle opere d’arte e spiegheranno le vicende della formazione e dello sviluppo della Biblioteca Civica, accompagnando gli ospiti nelle Sale monumentali e storiche dell’edificio.
Le visite in programma sono due, con partenza alle 10.00 e alle 11.30. La prenotazione è consigliata: scrivere a info@bibliotecamai.org, indicando nome, cognome, recapito telefonico, numero di partecipanti e orario prescelto; oppure telefonare allo 035-399430. Saranno accettati visitatori aggiuntivi anche non prenotati fino al raggiungimento del numero massimo delle presenze consentite.
